Call for Papers - EAA e-Conference 2021

Vue 101 fois

Computational power is increasing with exponential growth, in addition more and more data is available. This combination puts the actuarial profession into a position where a new understanding has to be developed on today’s possibilities of actuarial science and the ethical implications of it.

The new role of actuaries within big data and ongoing digitalisation is not yet fully defined. Best practice experience sharing and exchange of ideas is needed. The EAA is delighted to offer all interested actuaries and other experts a virtual forum for knowledge exchange:

On 29 June 2021, the second EAA e-Conference on Data Science & Data Ethics will take place.

Several hundred attendees from all over Europe and the rest of the world joined last year's pilot event. Participants have enjoyed a harmonious blend of recorded lectures and live keynote presentations. You have missed the event 2020? As a registered user at actuview, you can still watch all recordings at the related event page.

This year we are aiming to present all lectures live and offer networking opportunities between audience, lecturers and sponsors in order to further establish the conference as the most important information forum for the actuarial profession in terms of data, data quality and data ethics in Europe.

Herewith, we would like to invite you to get involved and share your knowledge and experience and kindly ask for your contribution to the Call for Papers. Please see below for more information on the key conference topics. We look forward to receiving your presentation and lecture proposals by 1 March 2021. Detailed submission guidelines can be found on our conference website.

It will be much appreciated if you could forward this information and e-mail to your colleagues and business partners.

We are very much looking forward to receiving your ideas and submissions and to welcoming you to our e-Conference this June.

Kind regards,

Your Programme Committee
