Conference of the Caribbean Actuarial Association

We are pleased to announce that the 2019 Annual Conference of the Caribbean Actuarial Association will be hosted at the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort in Curaçao. This will be the first time that a CAA Conference is hosted in Curaçao.

The theme of this year’s conference is Dare to Share. The Caribbean region is a melting-pot of different cultures with different insights. At the conference, we will discuss topics that affect each and every one of us. We will to bring together delegates from the Caribbean, North America, Latin America and Europe and DARE them to SHARE their knowledge and expertise. That is why we’ve chosen to include different interactive sessions in the conference programme. We are convinced that by uniting different regions and exchanging ideas and solutions we complement each other and achieve better results.

We also think it is important to share ideas between professions. Therefore we include topics related to social economic developments in the region to invite non-actuaries to join us. There are topics such as the impact of Tourism on the Region, Health Economics and Behavioural Economics.  One day registration is available to facilitate other professionals who wish to join us in Curaçao.
